To Post or Not to Post Everyday

A Post a Day

Here are reasons why I don't post everyday:

1. I could write up to 5 posts in a day if I'm in the mood, but, more often than not, I'm not. My muse is very moody and when she doesn't want to write, you just can't make her.

2. If I really wanted to post everyday, I could, but after a long day's work, sometimes it's just nice to hang around doing nothing (a.k.a. doing mindless surfing).

3. I'm probably living my real life. That's what my best friend says when she doesn't find me online. A.k.a. I'm most probably hanging out with Sweetie and Miguel and having the time of my life.

4. I'm probably overwhelmed with my blog backlog. Yup, I do have a lot of posts lined up but I don't know where to start. I even have a small notebook where I write down what I'm supposed to post... like about E-Yellowpages winning the Philippine Web Awards again (hey! congrats guys!!! ako siguro balat noon noh? I think your events portal Juice.ph is kinda cute).

5. I want to keep a secret. LOL.

If time wasn't an issue, would you post daily?

  3. To blog or not to blog?

Sometimes, I contradict myself by actually blogging when I am living my life, but sometimes, I would rather not blog about it because I find joy in just living the moment. Joy can be ephemeral and sometimes, try as I might, words can never really capture the moment. But then, when the moment is over, I do wish that I blogged about it or at least wrote about it so that I could come back to that time and be able to recall the vivid details.

So maybe "to blog or not to blog" is really a matter of choice and of course, the right mood! ;)

I'm happy that you're finally living the life that you want! Isn't it beautiful? Wishing you, Sweetie and Miguel the best in the years to come.

    Hugs, hugs, hugs.

  4. If time wasn't an issue? Daily?

No. I'll still post from time to time, but I'll make sure to live my offline life. Things are funnier and happier there, and I live for that, and I'm blogging mostly because I still itch to be creative.

And that needs to be scratched from time to time. Like once or twice in a week.

    Hellp apple, cheers!

  5. yes. because i'm definitely getting addicted to blogging lately. well before, i didn't know how to blog or what to blog about.

i'm glad that i can put down in writing now what's on my mind unlike before.

but it doesn't mean that i'm telling my whole life when i blog. i also have a private blogsite.

btw, it's nice to be here. ^_^

    Siguro hindi pa rin :)

Nakakatuwa kasi halos pareho tayo ng reasons why I don't post everyday, pero ang number one reason ko siguro is because I'm living my REAL life most of the time -- spending time with my family.

Halos lahat ng naging sites ko was left unfinished -- etong current lang siguro yung medyo pinag tuunan ko ng panahon -- however, madalang pa rin ako makapag update kaya aalog alog yung mga contents ng site hehe!

I would if I could think up of an interesting content (a.k.a. the not so personal happenings in my life). Otherwise, I'm in a hiatus most of the time bothered by my conscience to fill the webspace with crap :D
Nice site! I'll be sure to come back :)
