Hot Summer Weekend!

Temperatures have been rising since March and we're just a quarter through with summer! Good thing my basement's quite cool and my fan's still standing up.

Some things that made my weekend:

1. A funny, geeky video link sent by my friend. Watched it with Miggy and we laughed the whole time the video was playing.

2. Celebrating The Macalua's birthday.

3. iBlog3! Happiness! Happiness! Joy! Joy!

4. Going around UP with an alumni as tourist guide! And, of course, the photo shoot at the Sunken Garden. Plus! Tried out the yummy, sumptuous spag and choco cheesecake at Chocolate Kiss at breakneck speed with a friend! (Always wanted to go there since Liza, a colleague from EYP, used to bring dessert in the office. Too bad I finished the food before I remembered to take a photo of it! Grrrr!)

5. Lunch with the family at Wendy's (wish though their crew would be more attentive). 3-day sale at SM Bicutan! Bought some stuff... well not only some stuff grrrrr...

It was one fun, fab, quiet weekend (well half of it anyway). Can't wait for the week to start!

Wish I was at the beach though...

  1. Aileen, you're cute. And your talk at iBlog3 was great. I did not know that Picasa is google's too. I should be using that more often now. Can you send zip files of photos in Picasa? Fellow blogger-enthusiast, Zimm, the Pidjanga.

  2. Hi Zimm,
Thanks! Picasa has a better solution... just download it and then you can easily upload photos to a web album and then share the link to your friends. You can also export the photos to a photo tray on your desktop. My favorite button in Picasa is the "I'm feeling lucky button" since it easily fixes up the photos I took. Enjoy!
    A~

  4. You're right Cessna, but then they're the only fast food with somewhat decent salads. The others are blah... Happy Monday to you too!

  5. I didn't know you were at Chocolate Kiss earlier that day. Nice little place for some quiet time with your special someone. Hahaha! =)

Next time, try their chicken pork adobo, yun ang favorite ko. =) I'm not that much into cakes, pero sarap nga sa kanila.

Hi! =) I told Jayvee about it already. I emailed him asking his opinion about it. Will get it up and running within the next few weeks. Keep you posted! And thanks for dropping by. =)

Next time you go on a date at Chocolate Kiss Cafe in UP Diliman, you should try a slice of Devil's Foodcake. Chiken Ala Kiev is their house specialty too!! Their ice tea always makes me 'sugar high' because of the honey... People usually go their with their special someone... uuuyyy!!!

Chocolate Kiss was one of my favorite places to eat when I was working in Manila. Their desserts, for me, are their main draw. And yeah, CK screams "date place"!
