Britney Spears and the Philippines

One of my favorite past times is watching MYX and I got fascinated watching Britney's latest MTV "Piece of Me" where she mentions our country in the song -

I'm Miss American Dream since I was 17
Don't matter if I step on the scene
Or sneak away to the Philippines
They're still gonna take pictures of my derriere in the magazine
You want a piece of me?
You want a piece of me...

I wonder why the writer pointed out the Philippines... any ideas?

P.S. I was also surprised to see that one of Britney's videos on her Youtube channel had over 20 million views! Wow!!!
