Cat Stuff at Anko

I used to skip sections for pets at stores, but now that we have for babies I always end up buying something for them. We recently checked out Anko at Alabang Town Center since it's fairly new. It's now on the spot where National Bookstore used to be.

Anko at ATC is noticeably smaller than the Glorietta branch. The sections were evenly distributed, unlike in Glorietta which had a bigger section for houseware. Anko ATC just needs to dust their items. I had to wash my hands after visiting the shop

Anyway, back to pet items... They had a good selection and the quality and price is pretty good. I was so tempted to buy toys and new dishes for our cats. I just held back because I recently bought a bunch of dishes! Haha. Maybe I'll go back and get the automatic water dispenser.

For crafters, Anko has affordable craft materials. Miggy got a paintbrush set and I got some paint for a project. I think their stuff is good for beginners trying out new things. They don't have that many sewing materials though.

I'm happy there's an accessible Anko for us. The items they sell are very different from Daiso, Japan Home and other similar shops. Just hope they'll dust their items, haha

Visited Glorietta After a Gazillion Years

Last time I got to visit Glorietta albeit very briefly was when we came home in November 2021. After we rendered our quarantine, I just took a peek for a short time. We've been visiting malls in the south eversince to avoid crowds.

I was really happy when Sweetie said they'll have a reunion somewhere in Glorietta. I was ecstatic since I've wanted to visit for a long time now. Surprisingly, we didn't have a hard time finding a parking space. Mall goers have probably waned after new year. Yay for us!

First place went to are the row of toy shops near Japan town. I was happy to see Big Boys and Filbars are still around. I got a Grogu toy which was on sale. After the toy shops we passed by a few tech shops and had merienda at Tea Live.

When Sweetie left for his get together, Miggy and I checked out Nitori, Toy Kingdom, Papemelroti and Anko. I was so happy to visit Papemelroti again. I've just been ordering stuff online from their Lazada shop. There were so many changes and we were sad to see our favorite Don Henrico's gone. Peri-peri took over their spot. Bayo and Kamiseta seems to have moved since the whole section where they were located was covered.

We wanted to have dinner at Yabu, but the line was long. We ended up at Mexicali. Swarm said it's been 10 years since I last ate there! An oldi, but still a goodie! A lot of the shops beside it changed too. For dessert, we just had ice cream at McDonald's. Too bad, DQ moved nearer SM.

After reaching almost 5,000 steps I was ready to go home. We bumped into Sweetie and his former colleagues on our way back to our meeting place. We had a great few hours in Glorietta. Maybe next time we can explore the other half.
