If I were a Disney princess I'd probably be Cinderella. Not because I'm maltreated and have wicked sisters (I have an Ate and Kuya who are loving and supportive!), but I feel I'm like Cinderella because I usually end up working and doing so much stuff that I simply just don't bother with fixing myself up. But I'm not losyang!!! I'm not just the type to spend so much time in front of a mirror and you'd only probably see me all dolled-up when I'm being a professional abay (a.k.a. bridesmaid na naman!). So unless it's a ball and a fairy godmother does things to me you'll just see me in my usual simple, casual get-up (I seriously believe in #9).
Anyway, I got a scolding from my best friend a few weeks ago since she noticed I have resorted to a shirt & jeans ensemble whenever I go out (even to speaking engagements! bah!). Okay, okay, fine fine and the subject also came up when friends from Ponds brought up the subject of doing a party for bloggers. And before I digress even more, I just want to share this invitation being extended to all bloggers by Ponds (feel free to blog about it too) -

I started writing when I was 8. My mom got me a journal where I could rant (prob so I won't be an annoying brat). I stopped writing for 8 years until the pen and then later on the keyboard called on me again. I blog because I like writing and that's just about it. Hope you get inspired though... Bite the apple!

Enter the Bubble
"Enter the bubble," the voice-over said.
The curtains had opened and showed a huge "bubble" on the other side of the room. We all just sat there, transfixed with the lights and music.
"Enter the bubble," the voice-over said again. I knew the first time that she wanted us to go in the bubble... umm but the entrance was kinda missing. It took a while, but people finally realized we had to head over to the other room to enter the bubble. Hehehe. The bubble revealed a stage, exactly like those you'd see on TV for fashion shows. Wow, I thought, this is a different event altogether.
It was the launch of "Clear", Unilever's newest anti-dandruff shampoo and conditioner. It was a fashion show/event that my friends invited me to attend. Since it was for lunch and I was in the area, I went. Thought it was kinda cool to see people I'd only see in magazines. And, I'd say it was a totally different lunch for me.
So, here's a glimpse of the fashion show:

The shampoo has a nice smell, so I guess I'll try it sometime.
