It really doesn't matter where love is found, but that it has been found.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35203873.post-64012761425561289602007-07-15T00:48:00.000+08:002007-07-15T00:48:00.000+08:00@diane - grabeh! 2 years 6 months na kayo! hehehe....@diane - grabeh! 2 years 6 months na kayo! hehehe. ambilis nga naman ng oras! and i never knew you met online hehe. naks naman. aren't you coming home?Aileen Apolo-de Jesushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16655981649479872467noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35203873.post-14829105259095744082007-07-15T00:26:00.000+08:002007-07-15T00:26:00.000+08:00Hi, Ate Aileen! Yes, it's the same boyfriend as the one I brought to the choir before.:) Anyway, before I was into online games and.. he was too! So there we met, and the weird thing was, we played in the area and we never crossed paths in real life until then!

Now, I'm here in the States and he's still back in the Philippines, and I tell you, we wouldn't have lasted 2 years and 6 months without the internet!!Dianehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17845005781719220422noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35203873.post-38219292222996843672007-07-14T19:50:00.000+08:002007-07-14T19:50:00.000+08:00@sasha - Oh! Thanks for sharing your story. Wow! My 78-year old aunt was telling me last night, we're in a totally different era now and we just gotta do whatever makes us happy. I don't think it's tacky, it happens and I've heard a number of successful online love stories already. And yours was quite heartwarming to hear. Good luck and God bless!Aileen Apolo-de Jesushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16655981649479872467noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35203873.post-73121463921314730562007-07-14T19:43:00.000+08:002007-07-14T19:43:00.000+08:00I still find it tacky to admit to most people who ...I still find it tacky to admit to most people who ask about how my guy and i met. I dunno, it must be that whole stigma about online relationships, that people must be THAT desperate to resort to looking for love online. I clinch and pause everytime they ask, and all I can do is smile, really.

I have to say I'm not that comfortable admitting that I met my Swedish boyfriend through my blog, he was a silent voyeur to my life for months, had the guts to message me on Skype eventually, and we've been talking everyday for 8 months until he finally came over to see me last April for a two-month stay.

Meeting wasn't a problem at all, we acted like we've been seeing everyday for the last 8 months. Skype is heaven-sent--I can't imagine my probable phone bill!

As for the relationship, well, as soon as he left, it was back to reality. It's not a question if we're still together or not; there's no doubt about that now. I think I met my soulmate. It's a matter of how to work it out across the continents. And no, I don't think I'm gonna use a fiancee visa soon. He's not the marrying type. Ack.

Nobela na ba? hehe.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35203873.post-35264770274702184402007-07-14T15:43:00.000+08:002007-07-14T15:43:00.000+08:00You know that your "mum" and "dad" met via their b...You know that your "mum" and "dad" met via their blogs, right? ;-) LOL.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35203873.post-48233204762067109532007-07-14T02:36:00.000+08:002007-07-14T02:36:00.000+08:00@rocky - wow!!! as in! food for thought yan ha :)@rocky - wow!!! as in! food for thought yan ha :)Aileen Apolo-de Jesushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16655981649479872467noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35203873.post-63923693455152288592007-07-13T21:00:00.000+08:002007-07-13T21:00:00.000+08:00ICQ! In fact , my ICQ account remains to be active, hehe, and I'm one of those that made it to the 7-digit numbers!

Love online? I met my man who eventually became my partner back in 2000 via Gay.com. We exchanged messages, emails (can anyone say EdsaMail?) and eventually became involved by July 2001.

We just celebrated our 6th anniversary this year. =DRocky Sunicohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10499013104520746618noreply@blogger.com
